The Worship choir meets to practice on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. in the choir room. The Sanctuary Choir helps lead worship in the Sunday morning worship service. They also present at least
two programs each year: one at Christmas and one at Easter.
They are led by Ms. Lynn Johnston.
Praise Team
Our Praise Team meets on Wednesday nights at 6:30pm. It prepares itself to lead worship instrumentally and vocally. If you can play an instument or can sing (lead as well as harmony) we invite you to come and be a part of our team.
Youth Ministry
The Youth ministry meets 3 times weekly. Sunday nights from 6-7pm; Wednesday nights from 6:30-7:30pm; and Saturday nights from
6-8pm. We invite 6th grade thru high school to come and join us.
Children's Ministry
The children, 5th grade and under leave our worship service generally following the offertory and go to our education buiding for their worship hour. This provides the opportunity for their worship time to be structured for their age and understanding while the parents have their opportunity to worship in what the children call "big Church". Our Children's program in under the leadership of Mr. Steven Wade.
Child care is provided for the morning worship service.
Senior Adults Ministry
Our Senior Adults meet monthly; usually the 3rd Tuesday night of each month at 6pm. They have a pot luck supper and will have various speakers or programs presented at these meetings. Anyone 55 years young and above is welcomed to come and join this lively group. This ministry is led by Mrs. Edie West.
Education Ministry
We believe that a solid bible believing church is built on a solid Sunday School program. We have Sunday School classes provided for our babies up thru our Senior Adults. We invite you to come and be a part of our discipleship classes.
Weekday Ministries
Our Weekday Ministries are a thriving part of our programs here at Memorial.
We have the Mother's Day Out program Monday-Thursday. This is under the direction of Ms. Lynn Johnston. Need a break in your day??? We welcome you to come and trust your precious little one to our care. MDO starts at 1 years old to 3yrs (not potty trained).
Another one of our weekday ministries is our PreSchool and Kindergarten. This is also under the direction of Lynn Johnston. This program begins at 3 years old (must be potty trained). Our PreSchool and Kindergarten learn under the a beka program. We have one of the best in the city.
Our third ministry is our Elementary-Middle School, affectionately known as (MBCS). We enroll from the 1st grade through the 8th grade. Our faculty and staff teach and nurtur your child with lots of love. All of our teachers are certified and are Christians. We nurtur each student in the love and the admonition of the Lord.
Our PreSchool thru our 8th grade learn to recite scripture and learn to sing our children's songs, hymns, and praise and worship songs. PreSchool has its own Chapel time (Wednesday 9am) the Kindergarten thru the 5th grade has its Chapel time (Friday 9am); and the Middle School has its own Chapel time (Monday).
